Our QuickClick Utility enables you to quickly access our broad spectrum of services in just a few clicks on any platform. No need for a browser or to enter your library card number multiple times as you jump from service to service. Simply enter your library card number one time upon startup and zoom away! Best of all, it's completely FREE!

What's New

Our audio book service has recently been obtained by OneClick Digital. In hopes to avoid any confusion of software between ours and theirs, we have renamed OneClick+ to QuickClick. This software is not associated with E-books or audiobooks.

Those of you who are using OneClick+ will need to first uninstall OneClick+ before installing QuickClick. If you are on Windows, simply use the "Add and Remove Programs" dialog. Linux users will need to delete the "OneClick+" folder in their home directory and also the hidden folder ".mcalester public library" if it exists. Mac users can smply delete their previously extracted download.

Prerequisits

  • You must have a library card with McAlester Public Library to use this software
  • If you are a previous user of OneClick+, uninstall OneClick+ before installing QuickClick
  • With the power of Java behind it, QuickClick is fully compatible with all operating systems capable of running Java SE 7 and above (If it is not, please let us know!). Since QuickClick is based on Java, you will need to download Java SE 7 or later if you don't already have it installed. You may download Java at http://www.java.com (Don't worry, it's FREE!)

QuickClick 1.3 for Windows - Download (5.58MB) - After download, double click to install

QuickClick 1.3 for Linux* - Download (4.78MB) - Run in terminal "<download directory>/./quickclick_installer.bin" (may need to "chmod a+x" file first)

QuickClick 1.3 for Mac OS X - Download (4.95MB) - Unzip and double click "QuickClick.jar"

 

 *GTK+ users may need to disable Assistive Technologies (On Ubuntu 11.04 using Gnome 2 you can find this at System -> Preferences -> Assistive Technologies)

 

QuickClick Menu Firefox Extension

QuickClick Menu is a Firefox extension that adds our services in a menu on Firefox's menu bar. When a service is chosen from the menu, your browser is taken to that service's login page where you are then automatically logged in. This is the best QuickClick experience as you don't even have to leave your browser or use separate software! QuickClick Menu is compatible with Firefox 3 and above (If it is not, please let us know!).
